PV-STAR was invited by the Occitanie Region to participate in Energaïa, on 14th December, in Montpellier.

Yvan Cuminal, university lecturer, researcher, and co-director of PV-STAR, presented the strategic concerns of photovoltaic research for the future. The theme of his presentation to an informed audience was “Tomorrow’s Photovoltaics: Adaptation and Innovation.”

Considering climate projections, it is essential to consider the future of photovoltaics, either by adapting our current system or by innovating. The goal is to maintain high performance and promote the use of solar energy as part of a greener energy mix.

The PV-STAR project focuses its research on new physical concepts and materials.
