On Thursday 30th April, PV-STAR teams based in Montpellier held a working day in collaboration with the Occitanie Region. The morning session comprised a summary by PhD students and their supervisors on the evolution of their research. The Occitanie Region also presented the origins of the Key Challenges programme and the objectives to be achieved in the medium and long term.

The day continued with visits to research facilities at IES, L2C and ICGM, which are PV-STAR partners. These visits provided an opportunity to showcase the facilities available for students and researchers as part of projects funded by PV-STAR, as well as to reinforce collaboration between these third laboratories and to improve the effectiveness of cooperation on energy transition topics supported by Occitanie Region.
The objective of these engagements is to establish a solid foundation for a long-term collaboration that will facilitate the acceleration of progress towards a sustainable energy transition in the Occitanie region and beyond.
